Mappings in cofi.ai let you align and standardize values across your databases and sources — ensuring that similar data points (like “US”, “U.S.A.”, and “United States”) are treated as one consistent value throughout your workspace.

This article explains how to create, configure, and apply mappings in your workspace, step by step.

➕ How to Create a Dimension Mapping

There are two ways to create a Dimension Mapping. Both methods are valid for Column Mapping and Relationship Mapping:

• Create from source
• Custom Mapping.

➕ How to Create a Dimensions Mapping with Create from Source

1. Prepare the source file (CSV)

• Define a unique identifier column, usually called Key.
• Include the attribute columns that will feed the dimension.
• Keep column names clear and free of problematic characters (avoid accents, spaces, hyphens, symbols).

2. Add Mapping Data

• Upload the CSV.
• Allow the system to identify the available columns for mapping.

3. Navigate to Dimension Mapping

• Go to your workspace sidebar Settings → Dimensions Mappings → Create from Source
