Drill-Down Analysis in cofi.ai allows you to explore your model data at multiple levels of detail — from high-level summaries down to the most granular line items.

Drill-downs are powered by Dimensions, which define how your data is structured and grouped across Models and Dashboards.

By enabling drill-down, you can quickly understand what drives performance changes, variances, or unexpected results — all without leaving your Model or Dashboard view.

Drill-downs help you:

• Navigate from summary totals to detailed breakdowns (e.g., Region → Country → Customer).
• Investigate the underlying components of KPIs or account balances.
• Trace values back to the source data within the connected Database.
• Reveal trends or anomalies across multiple Dimensions.

⚙️ How Drill-Down Works

Drill-downs rely on the hierarchical structure defined in your Dimensions.

Each level of your Dimension hierarchy becomes a layer of detail you can expand within a Model or Dashboard.

Example Hierarchy:

Account Group
   ├── Subgroup
   │    ├── Account
   │    └── Account Detail

When a user drills into Account Group = Revenue, the Model reveals its underlying Subgroups and Accounts dynamically.
