➕ Creating Dimensions
- Navigate to Settings → Dimensions
- Click "Add dimension"
- Enter unique dimension name
- Set default values for empty data ("no value" or "null")
- Save changes
‼️ Important Considerations:
- Dimension names must be unique
- Avoid deleting dimensions in active use
- Plan dimensions before creating data source schemas
🧭 Dimension Mappings
Mappings help define relationships between data sources and custom values, providing flexibility in organizing data.
Setting Up Mappings:
- Prepare Chart of Accounts with detailed information for each account
- Create clean, well-organized CSV file (UTF-8 format)
- Ensure data matches exactly with workspace data (case-sensitive)
- Navigate to "Data Sources" → "Create Uploader"
- Upload CSV file and configure schema
- Go to "Settings" → "Dimension Mappings" → "Add New Mappings"
- Set origin column (e.g., account number) and destination column (e.g., department)
