Models in cofi.ai are spreadsheet-like workspaces that use curated Database data to calculate KPIs, build financial statements, and run scenarios such as Actuals, Budget, and Forecast.

They form the analytical core of your workspace — the layer where logic, structure, and assumptions come together before insights flow to Dashboards.

Models sit between Databases and Dashboards in the cofi.ai data flow:

Databases provide structured, standardized data.
Models apply calculations, logic, and scenario planning.
Dashboards visualize those model outputs for reporting and analysis.

This separation keeps data consistent while allowing flexible modeling and forecasting.
